St James welcomes our returning Organist/Choir Master: Kaye Crichlow.  Kaye has a bachelor in Music from Centary College with a major in piano and a minor in pipe organ.  A life-long Episcopalian, she was our church organist from 1981 unti 1987, leaving to spend more time with her children.  Before returning to St James, Kaye has served as organist at St Stephen's Lutheran Church and assistant organist at the cathedral of St John Berchman's.  We look forward to Kaye's able leadership or our talented choir.

Music at St. James is an integral part of our worship experience and parish life. Music, selected to reflect the themes and lectionary texts for each Sunday liturgy, is used regularly as a part of the 11:00 service on Sundays and on major feast days. Our traditional choir with organ accompaniment by choir director, Kaye Crichlow, performs at most Sunday services.

One Sunday a month contemporary Christian music is performed by the Praise Team along with the choir accompanied by guitars, drum, chimes and organ. The Praise team also performs on the fifth Sunday of each month.

New members for the choir and praise team are always welcome. The only requirement is a love of music. The children's choir performs on Christmas Eve and Easter.
