Hello and welcome to St. James Episcopal Church in Shreveport!  We are glad you have found us on the web and are interested in learning more about our community of faith.  After you have browsed our site, I hope you will want to come visit us in person one Sunday morning.

When you come to St. James you will find a caring and hospitable group of people that are dedicated to spreading the good news of God in Christ.  We come from all around the Shreveport-Bossier area to worship and fellowship with one another.  We love to sing and have two groups of musicians that add light and life to our worship - a traditional choir and a praise team.  We love to cook and find any excuse to sit around a table and break bread together.  We love to laugh and have many fun events during our calendar year outside our worship that enhance our life as a parish family.
