EPISCOPAL CHURCH WOMEN

All women members of St. James the age of 16 and older are members of the ECW.  The object of this association is a fourfold ministry of worship, mission, fellowship and advocacy.  The women meet once a month for fellowship and project planning, beginning with a wine and cheese gala in September.  Annual fund raisers include a rummage sale, a bazaar, the United Thank Offering and the World Service Offering.

DAUGHTERS OF THE KING

The Daughters of the King is an order for women who are communicants of the Episcopal Church.  Members undertake a rule of life incorporating the rule of prayer and the rule of service.  By reaffirmation of the promises made at confirmation, a daughter pledges herself to a life long program of prayer service and evangelism, dedicated to the spread of Christ’s Kingdom and the strengthening of the spiritual life of her church. The St. Monnica chapter of the Daughters of the King meets on a monthly basis.

FRYERS (Men’s Club)

The St. James Men’s Club cooks breakfast on the first Sunday of every month.  Proceeds from all events are given to some ministry with the consent of a majority of all men in the Parish.
